EPU was established in 1972 as an ordinary partnership by Mehmet EYİİP and Osman IŞIK. The founding partners aimed to manufacture at world standards. By providing various national and international standards related to the production of sound systems, power supplies used in laboratories and measuring instruments they have chosen as the subject of production; He carried out his theoretical studies and later formed his own research and development group.

EPU changed the type of establishment in 1978 due to the popularity of the devices it manufactures in the market and the rapid growth of demand, and became a LIMITED COMPANY and decided to diversify its manufacturing subjects.

In addition to the production of laboratory sources and measuring instruments used in sound systems, LİSAN LABORATORIES, INTERCOM SYSTEMS, SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION SYSTEMS, VOLTAGE REGULATORS, BATTERY CHARGERS, have been produced with its own data R&D studies and presented to the market.

In 1977, EPU produced the first SPARE POWER SUPPLY in Turkey. In this period when the power cuts were very high, this manufacturing enabled the company to grow rapidly, and as a result, domestic and foreign demands for representation and electricity contracting started to come to EPU. Our company did not change the decision it took at its establishment to only manufacture, It was decided to establish two new companies in order to respond to the demands on different subjects.

In 1982, the two founding partners, again taking their classmate Aydın GÜRPINAR with them, established ENERSİS A.Ş. for Electricity Contracting and ELEKTROSİS A.Ş. for agency services.

In 1982, EPU manufactured the first Uninterruptible Power Supply in Turkey, and has been the largest manufacturer of this market for many years. Later, he successfully supported ENERSIS and ELEKTROSIS companies by developing computer-controlled sound systems.

In order to make ENERSİS A.Ş., which has grown a lot in the country and abroad with a decision taken after 1989, appear stronger,  EPU Ltd. Most of the productions in the hands of Şti have been transferred.

Since 1998, EPU Ltd. Şti. has been bought by Mehmet EYİİP and Gerçek EYİİP. The other two firms were transferred to other partners.

Since 1999, EPU Ltd. Sti.’s old manufacturing, design and research-development spirit has been restored.

EPU Ltd. Şti. started to serve as a company that works on SCHNEIDER ELEKTRİK authorized paneling-representation in addition to its old manufacturing types.

EPU, which has been focusing on Panel Manufacturing, which is the new study subject since 1999, has been working in Turkey and abroad;

By carrying out the complete manufacturing of AG and MCC panels, it has succeeded in becoming one of the leading companies among the companies working in its field in Turkey.

EPU has been continuing its production since 2002 in its new address, Dökmeci Sanayi Sitesi, in its 1700 m² closed area building.

As of March 2008, the Authorized panel agreement with Schneider Elektrik was terminated, and an authorized panel-representation agreement was signed with ABB Elektrik.

EPU. By changing the type of establishment in October 2018, it continues its commercial activities as EPU Electronic Project and Application Joint Stock Company.
